Biopolis is an International Research and Development Centre located at one-north, Buona Vista, which is dedicated to the biomedical sciences. Biopolis Phase 3 started construction in the 3th quarter of 2009 and was completed in the 2nd quarter of 2011. STREAM Gravity Vacuum Pneumatic Waste Collection System was installed to convey the large amount of solid waste to the sealed container located at The Central Waste Handling Facilities (CWHF) on Level 1 of the building. The security level has been strengthened due to reduced amounts of labour accessing the building to collect waste on a regular basis. Discharge Valves were installed below the chutes and connected to 200m of Insulated Pipe Network and suspended Basement.
