Resort World Sentosa set a landmark as the most iconic leisure park in Sentosa Island, Singapore. The development consists of casino, theme park, convention centre, hotels, conference facilities, retail shops and restaurants. STREAM Pneumatic Waste Collection System was designed to handle 30 metric tons of general and kitchen waste generated from these amenities. There are 20 load stations within the development with a total pipe length of 1900m. The furthest load station is located approximately 1.1km away from the Centre Waste Handling Facilities (CWHF). The pipe is insulated to reduce the noise resulted from the pipe during waste transportation process. Our system operates 24/7 to ensure that the frequency of waste removal from multiple load stations reduces unpleasant odour, eliminates pests and improves security levels.
